Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Arisaema Cum Bile, Semen Ziziphi Spinosae, Fruetus Alpiniae Oxyphyllae, Fructus Lycii, Semen Platy Cladi, Fossilia Dentis Mastodi, Fructus Schisandrae Chinenses, Semen Juglandis, Concretio S ilicea Bembusae, Radix polygalae, Succinum, Rhizoma Gastrodiae, ect.

Characteristics:

a. This prescription with a long history and the remarkable therapeutic effects is an old folk remedy for cerebral tonic purpose. Sorted out by Xi'an Red-cross Hospital, examinated and approved by the senior doctors of traditional Chinese medicine, Cerebral Tonic Pill has been manufactured by the former Xi'an Chinese Pharmaceutical Factory early from 1956. Among the compositions, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Semen Ziziphi Spinosae, Semen Platy Cladi for tonifying blood and caltivating mind, Fructus Lycii, Semen Juglandis, Fruetus Alpiniae Oxyphyllae for tonifying kidney to arrest spontaneous emission and astringing cardiac qi to avoid exhaustion; Succinum,Fossilia Dentis Mastodi, Radix Polygalae, Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii for tranquilizing and allaying excitement. Rhizoma Gastrodiae, Concretio Silicea Bambusae, Arisaema Cum Bile for expelling wind and reducing phlegm by resuscitation.

This preparation began to be exported by Shanghai Local Products Import and Export Company from 1965 and has been aecepted by the patients at home and abroad.
